
Amol Rajan was previously the BBC’s first media editor, reporting on global technology and media companies. He has presented several documentaries on television (How To Break Into the Elite; How To Crack the Class Ceiling; The Princes and the Press) and on radio (The Imperial Inversion of Cricket, Archive on 4: Rivers of Blood; The Decline of the West).
He is also host of Rethink, a series of programmes and podcasts on the world after Covid-19. Before joining the BBC, he was appointed editor of The Independent aged 29, the youngest editor of a broadsheet in Britain, and the first from an ethnic minority for over a century. He is also the author of Twirlymen: the Unlikely History of Cricket’s Greatest Spin Bowlers.
