Award-winning journalist and broadcaster Emily Maitlis was recognised by GQ Magazine as one of the most influential people in Britain. She presents The News Agents podcast – which won gold and the Spotlight award at the 2024 British Podcast Awards – and the weekly The News Agents USA for Global Media. Last year, she anchored Channel 4’s live coverage of both the UK general election and the US election.
Maitlis was the executive producer of A Very Royal Scandal, retelling her journey as a Newsnight journalist and her 2019 interview with Prince Andrew, who talked publicly for the first time about his links to Jeffrey Epstein. She was also co-executive producer of the 2023 documentary Andrew – The Problem Prince, which examined his decision to be interviewed and the aftermath.
She has interviewed numerous political leaders, including Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton, and each of the last six UK Prime Ministers, as well as leading names from the world of culture and international affairs.
