Kara Swisher

Kara Swisher is the host of the On with Kara Swisher podcast and the co-host of the Pivot podcast with Scott Galloway, both distributed by New York magazine. One of the first journalists to specialise in the technological and internet development of the past few decades, she was the co-founder and editor-at-large of Recode, host of the Recode Decode podcast, and co-executive producer of the Code conference. A former contributing opinion writer for The New York Times and host of its Sway podcast, she has also worked for The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.
She is the author of three books: Burn Book, her most recent, preceded by There Must Be a Pony in Here Somewhere: The AOL Time Warner Debacle and the Quest for a Digital Future, and aol.com: How Steve Case Beat Bill Gates, Nailed the Netheads and Made Millions in the War for the Web.
