Co-founder and chairman Saad Mohseni, named an Asia Game Changer by the Asia Society, launched his first network in Afghanistan in 2002, and has developed MOBY Group into one of the fastest-growing diversified media companies in South and Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Mohseni was included in Time’s 2011 ranking of the 100 most influential people in the world, Foreign Policy’s 2013 top 100 Global Thinkers, the 2016 Business Insider 100: The Creators list, and the BBC’s 2015 list of 10 men fighting for gender equality, the latter for his news and television networks’ empowering of civil society and defending women’s rights in Afghanistan.
He serves on the advisory board of the International Crisis Group and the board of directors for the Rest of World non-profit, and is a member of the international advisor council for the Middle East Institute.
