A pioneer of exposing war crimes through open-source investigations, Manisha Ganguly is the award-winning investigations correspondent and visual investigations lead at The Guardian. Her work has led The Guardian’s coverage of the Israel-Gaza war, the Pentagon leaks, disinformation mercenaries, transnational repression by Saudi Arabia and Iran, and more. Her investigative documentaries for the BBC World Service, exposing war crimes and human rights abuses across the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, and China, have been broadcast to over 300 million people worldwide.
Evidence uncovered in her investigations has been presented to, acted on, and cited by bodies such as the UK Parliament, the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the EU, the Norwegian and US governments, and the United Nations Security Council.
She is a judge for the News & Documentary Emmy Awards, a member of BAFTA, a Forbes Under 30 media honouree, and a two-time Amnesty Award winner.
