Andrew R.C. Marshall

Andrew R.C. Marshall is a London-based reporter for Reuters’s Global Political Investigations team, covering human rights, corruption, and political upheaval. He has won three Pulitzer Prizes for International Reporting with his Reuters colleagues for investigations into the bloody “war on drugs” in the Philippines and the violent persecution of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. 

He is author of The Trouser People, about football and dictatorship in Burma, and co-author of The Cult at the End of the World, about Aum Shinrikyo’s sarin attack on Tokyo’s subway. A movie based on The Cult at the End of the World premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2023.
