Shabnam Khan Dawran

Shabnam Khan Dawran is a seasoned Afghan journalist. She has worked with some of Afghanistan’s most prominent media outlets as a news presenter and programme host, and has been a news presenter and producer for Afghanistan International in London since 2022.
Her career began at Zhwandoon TV, where she hosted morning shows, women’s programmes, and news segments from 2016 to 2018. She then worked at Shamshad TV as a morning show presenter before joining TOLONews as a news presenter in 2020. In 2021, she moved to Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA), where she was a news presenter until the fall of the Afghan government. Following these events, she relocated to the United Kingdom.
Alongside her journalism career, Khan Dawran pursued legal studies at Ashna University, Kabul, and is also continuing her education in the English language.
With extensive experience in media and a deep understanding of current affairs, she remains committed to delivering accurate and impactful journalism, advocating for truth and transparency in reporting.
