BBC News analysis editor Ros Atkins has been a BBC News presenter for over 20 years. He has anchored coverage on Brexit, Covid 19, the war in Ukraine and multiple US, UK, and European elections, and reported from all over the world. He has developed and presented a number of news formats, including Outside Source on BBC News and On the Week on BBC One. His Ros Atkins On… video explainer series is popular on social media and features across BBC News output. He also co-presents The Media Show on BBC Radio 4. He initially joined the BBC as a producer on Five Live.
His first book, The Art of Explanation: How to Communicate with Clarity and Confidence, out in paperback this month, was published in September 2023.
