Ed Williams
EMEA CEO and President, Edelman, the producer of the Edelman Trust Barometer
Before taking up his current role, Ed Williams led Edelman UK and Ireland for eight years. Previously, he oversaw corporate affairs and communications for two global media companies: the BBC and Reuters. He advises senior executives, including high-profile figures in the media sector, on corporate communications, strategy, and issues management.
Williams is Chair of Aspen UK and serves on a number of other boards, including the Royal College of Art, the Woolf Institute in Cambridge, International Crisis Group’s Advisory Council, the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, and The New European. He has an honorary fellowship from Goldsmiths University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s AMP programme. He started his career in newspaper and television journalism.
